Our spider sense is tingling here at Entertainer HQ. Because this most innovative of robots adds more than just a twist of Spidey-like ingenuity! Developed by NASA scientist Mark Tilden using his ground-breaking hard-wired BEAM technology, Spidersapien is modelled not on the clunky robots of old, but on biological life-forms. As a result, he's undergone a substantial deconstruction and reengineering in the Tilden lab to deliver authentic Spider-like motion, speech, mannerisms, actions and more! Substantial modification has occurred deep in his core, even enabling him to replicate the internationally acclaimed web-slinging action of the superhero himself! A fully modified control unit provides access to no fewer than four different programming modes and movement sequences of up to 84 steps , with six distinct commands for each side of his rippling body! As ever with Spiderman, it's his insect-like nervous system that mark him out as special. Advanced interactive reflexes enable him to respond to touch, sound and obstacles in his path . In fact, he's a robot so advanced, you could be forgiven for thinking he's human... Look out... here comes the Spidersapien!
