Teletubbies is a show about creatures known as Teletubbies (so called because they're tubby, and have TV screens in their stomachs). The Teletubbies live in Teletubbyland, and faraway place inhabited by only the Teletubbies,talking flowers, talking trumpets, a baby sun, the Noo-Noo, a bunch of rabbits, and the narrator. There house is known as "The Tubby-Tronic Superdome", and has everything they need, four beds, a tubby-toast maker, a tubby-custard makers, and a slide used as an alternate entrance. In the middle of their dome, they have a panel of switches and buttons and their tubby sponges which they use to bathe themselves. Each day, the Teletubbies discover new things together, watch videos on their tubby-screens, and have fun together. In Teletubbyland, there's a large windmill, and when it spins pink dust, it let's the teletubbies know that something magical is about to happen. TheTeletubbies were developed in U.K. by Ragdoll and BBC.

Tinky Winky has his bag, Dipsy his splotched hat, Laa-Laa her ball and, of course, littlest Po her scooter. The opening of the video has each Teletubby in turn lose his or her favourite item, and then go off in search of it. Each Tubby is then featured in a segment: Laa-Laa chasing her ball, Tinky Winky singing into his bag, Dipsy dancing with his hat and Po riding in circles on her scooter.
Uh- Oh Messes & Muddles: Everything has gone totally crazy in Teletubbyland. There are messes everywhere. Tubby toast, tubby custard and a ball of string have all been made messy by Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po, with a helping hand from the tubby machines, although Noo-noo always tidies up in the end.
Busy Day- In Teletubbies, Busy Day Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po giggle and romp their way through a day filled with Tubby toast, laughter and play. This video has the usual Tubby mix of music, repetition and movement, designed to stimulate children's imaginations, promote speech and increase confidence. Our young reviewers needed little encouragement to join in with the action on screen and when the voice trumpet called out parts of the body for the Tubbies to wash, they had plenty of time to think of the answer, shout it at the screen and perform the actions.
Bedtime Stories: Time for Tubby bedtime! But those lovable, roly-poly critters are having a heck of a time settling down with their Tubbytronic blankies. First Tinky Winky wants to dance, then Laa-Laa gets the itch to play with her big orange ball, and Po just has to zoom around on her squeaky scooter. Each takes turns waking the others, resulting in 70 minutes of favorite songs such as "Rock-a-bye Baby" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider," simple bedtime stories, and plenty of wiggles and giggles.
Magical surprises: What's that? ask Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po. They have lots of fun playing with a magic fountain, a magic carpet, a magical watering can and a box... But it's no ordinary box, it's a Jack-in-a-box... Surprise!
And magical things are happening in Teletubbyland too... a tree grows... a house appears... and three ships go sailing by. And when the magic windmill turns, the Teletubbies see real children putting on a shadow play and getting all dressed up for the carnival. Animals Big & Small: Young children love animals and they will love to see the Teletubbies having fun with animals of all different sizes. One day in Teletubbyland, Laa-Laa sees a little lamb. But the little lamb is very sad... until another little lamb arrives and everyone is happy. Tinky Winky loves to say "How Now Brown Cow"... again and again! Po and all the Teletubbies see a beautiful butterfly and Dipsy finds a very friendly dog. And when the magic windmill turns, the Teletubbies can see real children playing with big elephants and small penguins... a family of swans and some little puppies--woof, woof!
